M.A. in Educational Technology (Online)
College description: The program is designed to allow students who complete the BA in Instructional Technology to fulfill the requirements of the MA in Educational Technology with one additional year of graduate study. 4+1 students can double-count up to 15 credits of 500-level or above courses. Applicants to the 4+1 program must apply for the MA in Educational Technology through the online graduate program application and indicate a Yes response to the 4+1 accelerated program question.
The program can be completed fully online and offers professionals advanced knowledge in a broad range of educational technologies.
Technology integration and instructional design: Utilize best practices of instructional design to create a broad range of technology-enhanced learning activities.
Online teaching/learning practices: Become proficient in the effective design of online instructional activities.
Students must submit the follow items with their application. The GRE is not required for admission to this program.

College description: The online master of science in educational technology is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students to systematically design and develop instruction with optimal use of technology, and to implement, manage, and evaluate the total process of teaching and learning in order to bring the most effective, efficient, and appealing instruction to various teaching and training settings including kindergarten-12 schools, colleges and universities, government, business industry, and the military. The master of science in educational technology is a -credit-hour program. The curriculum stresses development of media literacy skills in order to serve the needs of instruction and training in the 21st Century.
