College description: The Master of Arts for Teachers degree is designed for students seeking initial certification in a career and technical education instructional field.Depending on their academic and professional background, applicant may take nine or credit hours to satisfy the emphasis requirement.This degree includes a minimum of 48 semester credit hours of coursework.Please be as specific as possible so that the university may quickly assist applicant.Please note that these amounts are subject to change and are meant to give prospective students an idea of the costs associated with a degree at the University of Georgia College of Education.Students may qualify for a variety of assistantships, scholarships, and other financial awards to help offset the cost of tuition, housing, and other expenses.
Students must be full-time for two academic-year semesters in order to complete the coursework required for certification.

Their personal statement is a chance for us to get to know applicant as a scientist and potential student in the university programs. A good statement tells us their science journey and story, clearly and concisely describes their research experience, and shows us their drive, motivation, passion, and maturity.
GRE test scores may be submitted by the applicant but are not required at this time.
