The university will accept only official GRE scores from tests administered within the last five years.

GRE subject tests are not required for any of the university programs, but the university will be happy to review any additional exam results that applicant choose to send.

Art applicants are not required to submit GRE scores.

Applied Gender Studies, Cultural Studies, and History applicants for all degree levels are not required to submit GRE scores.

MA in Music and PhD in Musicology applicants are required to submit GRE scores, but Music Performance applicants are not required to submit GRE scores.

PhD in English and PhD in Religion applicants are required to submit GRE scores, but MA applicants in these programs are not required to submit GRE scores.

All applicants must submit current GRE scores , regardless of whether a previous graduate degree has been obtained. Test scores must be no more than five years old at the time their application is received.
