Graduate Entry Prespecialty in Nursing
Scores from the GRE General Exam are required for all applicants. The GRE needs to have been taken in the last five years. GEPN candidates should take the GRE no later than mid-September, and MSN candidates should take the test no later than mid-October.
Thus, there are no cut off GPAs or GRE scores for acceptance into the program. On average, accepted students have GPAs of 3.3 through 3.6 and GRE scores within the 50th percentile on each of the three sections.
GPA and GRE scores are considered along with video essay, timed writing, letters of recommendation, the statement of purpose, community service experience, etc.
Applicant can take the GRE multiple times, and the university will consider their best scores in each of the three sections. The university recommend sitting for the GRE at least two weeks before the deadline this will ensure that their scores are received close to the deadline.
For instance, retake the GRE, update their statement of purpose, obtain fresh letters of recommendation, etc.
