Specialization in Forensic Counseling program prepares graduates to provide counseling and advocacy services for individuals involved in the criminal justice system, correctional system, court systems, and behavioral health systems. We train socially responsible practitioners who embrace diversity and seek to empower these populations.
Forensic Psychology students at the Chicago Campus have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at The Chicago School’s Forensic Center, which provides high-quality forensic psychological services and programming to improve the health and well-being of individuals within diverse communities. Guided by practitioner faculty, students utilize unique, real-world opportunities to conduct mental health interventions, advocacy, and/or research. Additionally, students will gain hands-on experience with forensic clients and agencies, furthering their knowledge, skills, and abilities to address the multi-faceted aspects of forensic mental health practice at the Master’s level.
