Applicant are in section Students, in section Future Students, in section Graduate, on page Admissions.
If applicant are a current or former Ohio State graduate student and applicant wish to to another graduate program, applicant will indicate such on the Graduate Admission application.
If admitted, a final official transcript must be submitted.
Official GRE scores are required for all applicants.
Their resume should be 1-2 pages.
If their status shows missing letters of recommendation, applicant can use this link to send reminders and add new recommenders. Test scores and transcripts typically take a couple of weeks to be processed. The majority of admissions decisions and financial aid awards will be made February-March, though notifications may continue through the summer.
A) In the case of applicants with prior design experience, the Admissions Committee evaluates portfolios for evidence of conceptual reasoning, design ability, and graphic skills.
Applicants wishing to be considered for fellowships must submit GRE scores.
This 1 page professional resume should include academic and relevant professional history.
Their letters of recommendation are important for the admissions committee to assess preparedness for graduate work. Personal associates are not appropriate references for admissions consideration.
The MCRP admissions process is conducted on a rolling basis.
The majority of admissions decisions and financial aid awards will be made January-March, though notifications may continue through the summer.
Students pursuing a dual degree complete the requirements of each individual degree while applying approved courses towards both degrees.
Generally, there are two options for admission into a dual degree program.
Note that only one copy of transcripts and test scores are required. If applicant wish to use the same letters of recommendation, applicant may ask the graduate programs coordinators to share letters to be included in each application.
Note that the second program may require additional admission materials and may only accept applications at certain times of the year.
A) If applicant are applying to the MCRP as their second program, please send the Knowlton graduate programs coordinator a copy of their updated resume and a new statement of intent in addition to having their original application sent. Students may MCRP at any time throughout the year as the program has rolling admissions.
Applicant are not required to submit new test scores, transcripts or the application again unless these items need to be updated.
